This cable enables you to perform the following operations:

1. Telescope Control: Use a PC to control a Meade AutoStar II equipped telescope using a compatible astronomical software program with telescope control capabilities.
2. Download from a PC: Download a new version of the AutoStar II software or updated object information from the Meade website to your AutoStar II with Meade’s easy-to-use AutoStar Update (ASU) program.

This cable is functionally equivalent to Meade’s 507 cable.

This cable will work with any software supporting the LX200 series telescopes, including:
